Nimrod Marom

Archaeozoologist

I'm an achaeozoologist studying animal/human/environment interactions from biological and anthropological perspectives. My research is now in the Judean Desert, where I explore the effect of human settlement intensification on large mammals in antiquity; and along the southern Levantine coast, in search for Iron Age animal transportation. Other collaborative projects include work on wolves, water voles, and soil bacteria, with keen interest in integrating paleozoology with conservation biology.
